Stop eating my herbs!

There are two young female deer that live in the woods that my house is in the middle of. I don't call them "my woods" because I figure that the deer and the squirrels owned it before I did. They go by my front door every afternoon, then walk down my driveway.

This particular deer seems to have a fondness for my parsley and my sage. Notice how they are *MY* herbs. Luckily I grew enough to share.

How strange! I was surfing the blogs for herb articles and came across yours. When I saw that you were in Michigan, I checked out your favorite restaurant. It was then I realized that you must be near Holland. I am in Jamestown, only 20 minutes away. I also grow, cook with, and write about herbs but the deer seem to leave me alone. Could be my big dogs :)

There's some product called "not tonight, deer" I hear it's very effective--and organic.
